I have been friends with David so long I can't remember when we met. I knew his sweet mom, brother Richard and his sister. Had dinners and holidays with them. He was sweet and goofy. Everyone that knew him loved him. We use to watch Superbowl at Galaxy Billards for years and we always were for the opposite teams. David and I never lost contact over the years. He would text me and torment me over the Cowboys and did this year during playoffs. I loved Davey and he will be missed by many. Rest in peace Googly.

David was a dear friend of mine since high school. His passing hit me hard. Brought me to tears. Glad I got to see him just before he passed. He was friends with just about every one he met. Sometimes a little rough around the edges but with a kind soul and good hearted. He will be missed by me, and God only knows how many. Good bye old friend, see you on the other side.

I was so sorry to hear of Davids passing. I met him years ago and you couldn't help but to like him. He was always saying something to put a smile on our faces.

He is with God now.
May he RIP.

My condolence to the family.

I was very sorry to hear of David’s passing. I have been David’s next door neighbor for almost 9 years, and I always appreciated his true neighborly spirit. He saved me on numerous occasions, from helping with my dog to accepting packages to straightening out my bent key so I could get in my house one night after dark. Recently he’d discovered some peanut butter dog bones that he bought often for Bettie, and he always thought to bring some for my Zoe girl too. Needless to say, she loved him! He got a kick out of Bettie and Zoe racing up and down the fence line together, and I got a kick out of how much he enjoyed it. It was nice to know the spirit of community was alive, at least on our block, because of his friendliness. Blessings to the family.

David and I went to school together and what a sweet man he was. I am shocked to hear of his passing. He was always so upbeat and always made me laugh. He was always ready for a get together of friends to share memories from John Marshall High School. He will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.
