My deepest condolences to the Luna family at this difficult time. I will always remember your kindness every Sunday at the 10:00 mass at St. Timothy. You always greeted me with a hug and a kiss. I will always remember you. 💜

Tia, I thank you for giving me my blessing that meant so much to me its like you knew I needed it! I hear all these stories about your cooking and talents and i see where my mommy gets it from. The Baladez family will miss you oh so much! Thank you for the many years you and your family shared with us. Te quiero tia!

My sentimental and prized possession is my Wedding Dress.  Mom created and made my BEAUTIFUL wedding dress without a pattern and based on an image I sketched for her.
A memorable event was when Mom, while on a trip with my family; forced 12 adult male softball players, wife, kids as well as me, my boys and husband at the time, to hold hands at a Holiday Inn parking lot in San Diego California so she could pray for us.   She told us there was evil in the group and she had to pray for us followed by our joint version of the Lords prayer (the guys were simply hung over).                    That’s when I realized the power of her prayers and loyalty to our dear God.
She taught me how to sew, but my skill will never match up to her successful talent and the passion she had for sewing. Her memory will live in our hearts, forever.

Mrs. Luna as long as I recall you were a matriarch at St. Timothy. Along with my dad you attended mass faithfully and served our Lord. Your deep faith and roots of our Catholic faith shone right through you.  Que  descanse en paz y que la  luz perpetua brille sore ella. 
You will be missed. 

I used to walk to her house after school. It was so nice to be greeted by such a warm and caring face every afternoon. Not to mention, all of the wonderful smells that came from whatever she had cooked that day. We would sit and watch Cristina together, while I waited for my Dad to pick me up. Great Grandma Luna would translate the entire episode for me, she would tell me all the chisme that was going on throughout the episode. That’s actually how I was able to pick up and understand some Spanish.  I didn’t realize how special those moments were at the time. I do now, and I’ll cherish them forever.

Grandma you always had the best stories to tell.  You are going to be missed tremendously by my family.  Thank you for giving me the best daddy ever.  You will be with him YOUR ROCK like you always said.  Thank you for being a great mother to my daddy, mother in law to my mommy, grandma to me and Ray and great grandma to the kids.  Especially the mother in law figure.  My mommy loved you a lot because you were the best mother in law anyone could have.  You stayed strong thru all the struggles you faced with your health but you were still there to give us your blessings.  You told me one thing one day that I will always remember and only you know what that was that has me doing some research on the family tree.  I will find the answer one day soon.  Please say hi to my daddy for me.  We are going to miss you we will see you when it’s our time.  Love you grandma De Chuy!!!

My favorite memories:
I will never forget when I was in 3rd grade and for Halloween you made me a goku from DBZ costume as they didnt sell it in stores,  it was perfect and every kid was obsessed with it in the neighborhood. I also remember in Vegas  when we walked the strip so you can shop for a gift for all your kids, even tho they were grown.. that was special of you.  Even through the toughest times when Tio Ramon passed, I promised him and you I would visit you more and I kept that promise. To me you were strong mentally and emotionally and had a great sense of humor which I credit myself from having.. I'm so happy you met Maya when she was born and you were obsessed with her and didnt want to put her down.. I love you grandma and you will be missed but also remembered for all the good times.. Elena is survived by her loving children, Dolores (Rudy), Gloria (Pete), Joann (Roy), Pauline, Maria (Robert), Irma (Joe), and Jesse, Jr. (Dorothy);  sister, Margarita. Elena is also survived by her 18 adoring grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved Husband, Jesus L. Luna; parents, Ysidro Baladez and Maria Baladez; her son, Ramon Luna;  Grandson, Jesus.
