Sally was always happy to see people and downplayed her own health issues. I remember meeting her when Uncle Lindsey brought her to my dad's house when I was young. They were away ln our country's service most of the time so we didn't see much of them. I remember them returning to the US with their new little adopted son Tim. He was a cute little guy, just a year younger than my own brother David. They had such fun playing together. Everyone got busy with their own lives, but when we started taking a Texas vacation every year we made it a point to go visit them. We caught up on the years and enjoyed seeing them. Thank you Tim for the marvelous care you gave them in their declining years. Love from Rita and Dan.

Tim, may fond memories of your mom bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. My heart and prayers go out to you. I have such fond memories of your mom while I was growing up. She was always full of energy. Her apple pie recipe is awesome and will live on for generations as we have passed it on to our children.
