Eustolia Zapata

Eustolia Zapata, age 95, passed away January 9, 2020 in San Antonio, TX. She was born in Gachupines, Mexico on September 19, 1924 to Reyes & Felipa Aranda. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. She was a long time member of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church.

Mrs. Zapata was preceded in death by her husband, Enrique Zapata; sons, Sergio Zapata and Marco Zapata; grandsons, Victor Zapata and Daniel Lopez

She is survived by her sons, Homer (Lucero) Zapata and Xavier (Mirtala) Zapata; daughter, Bertha Rodriguez; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with the Rosary to follow at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2020 at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, 102 Lorenz Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum 5000.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
