Gregorio P. Gonzales born February 26, 1928 in La Coste, Tx. went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2019 at the age of 90. He is preceded in death by his parents Felix and Sofia Gonzales, the love of his life wife of 53 years Trinidad G. Gonzales, sisters Rosa Morales, Aurora Duran, Maria Ayala, Ascension Martinez, Josephine Aparicio, brothers Jose Gonzales, Igancio Gonzales, Julian Gonzales, grandson Robert Perez Jr., and son-in-law Erbey M. Rendon. He is survived by his sister Guadalupe Gomez, Carmen Valencia, brothers David Gonzales, Felix Gonzales Jr., children Sofia G. Arcos, Hortense G. Rendon, Delia (Robert) Perez, Johnny (Geneva) Gonzales, Trinidad (Blaise) Cassibba, Gregorio Jr. (Elvia Gonzales. he had 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He only had a 3rd grade education due to helping his father provide for his family, but the knowledge he held was beyond a college education. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend, willing to help anyone in need. He loved spending time with friends and family, dancing, listening, singing his favorite songs. He always had great stories of his life's adventures, always telling his jokes or just plain joking around. He was strong family man, he believed in "Family First" and would do anything and everything for his family. He will dearly missed and will live on with all the memories he left behind. He is now with our Heavenly Father and his been reunited with the love of his life; Trinidad as he called her "Mi Viejita". Rest in peace until we meet again.
visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home. 2525 Palo Alto Rd. San Antonio, Texas. 78211 on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and will continue on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A Funeral procession will depart 9:30 am on Thursday, January 17, 2019 for a 10:00 am Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Somerset, Texas. with interment to follow in First Memorial Cemetery.
