Jimmie E. Boeck entered into rest on May 6, 2022. He was born in San Antonio to Gertrude and Emil Boeck on January 15, 1929. Jimmie is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, JoAnne; siblings Jack
Boeck, Yevette Prinz, and Adeline Retheford. He is survived by his sibling, Walter Dill and his wife Barbara Dill; son , Terry A. Boeck and wife Kathleen Boeck; daughter Bonnie Boeck Bochat and husband Bill Bochat; son, Jimmie W. Boeck and his wife Diane Boeck; grandchildren, Maxwell Boeck, Anna Boeck, Justin McDonnell, Lacey Skelton, Jimmie T. Boeck , 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
He attended Brackenridge High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1946. He returned home after a two year tour of duty in Italy. He married his high school sweetheart and went to work for Lone Star Brewery, working over 50 years and retired after working at the Lone Star Buckhorn Museum for a few more years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling with his family. He enjoyed meeting people and had many friends and relatives to share his adventures and storytelling.
He was a member of MacArthur Park Lutheran Church, where he stayed active for many years.
