Joe A. Tommy Lopez Jr., age 55, of San Antonio, died Friday, June 5, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his father Jose G. Lopez; and brother, Rolando Lopez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Sylvia A. Lopez; children, Sara Lopez, Melanie Lopez, Desire Lopez and fianc, Mario Jimenez, Jr., Julianne Lopez and fianc, Sammuel Anguiano, and Joe David Lopez; grandsons, Mario Jimenez III and Benicio Anguiano; mother, Catalina Lopez; siblings, Mary Lou Woodall, Manuel Lopez, Sandra Zapata, Samuel Lopez, Reynaldo Lopez, Debra Ontiveros, Edgar Lopez, Ileana Barratachea, and Yvonne Lopez; mother-in-law, Mary H. Amador; brother-in-law, Raymond Sotelo; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and in-laws.
Tommy will lie in state beginning 1:00 P.M. Monday. The family will receive friends at Porter Loring Mortuary Monday, 5:30 P.M. until after the rosary service.
