PS Please overlook my typos , and not getting Lou's Army rank correct. The long and short of it, Louis Kloptoski was a fine man and he will be missed. Hilda Downen

My mom and Dad, Clarence and Edna Amos began their relationship with Sharon and Louis Kloptoskie when I was about 5 years old. I remember Lou from my child hood and growing up through the years. He was a fine man, husband to Sharon and Dad to Jody and Patrick. He was such a funny guy. Daddy was honored to have know him and always spoke so highly of Senior Master Sargeant Louis Kloptoski. We lost Daddy a year ago so I guess "Ed" as Lou called him was standing and waiting for Lou to sit and engage in great conversation. Even though Lou was in the service and they traveled they have always stayed in touch with Lou and Sharon. Life long friends. Back in the day, Daddy and Lou would throw back a few beers. I remember Lou being a smaller man in stature but a big man in personality and life. Even though they retired in Texas, Mom and I will miss Lou's smiling face and his PA accent. He was such a good man. If you ever knew Lou, you had a friend for life. Rest in Peace, Louis Kloptoski. Edna Amos and Hilda Downen
