Margaret was most happy when surrounded by her family. Every Sunday, she would host three generations in her house, continuously pressing each person, “Are you hungry?” and pointing them to the ready food on the table. From when the first person arrived for breakfast to when Wheel of Fortune came on, Grandma would stuff us full of love and food. She will be dearly missed. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are blessed to have been forever bolstered and bound together by her devotion to her family.
Rosary and Visitation will be on March 30th, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home. Family will visit from 5:30pm-6pm, followed by public visitation from 6pm-7pm, and concluding with the Rosary from 7pm-8pm. Appetizers and drinks will be served.

As a family, we wish to extend our sincere thanks to Rene Castañon, Margaret’s youngest son, for stepping forward to serve as a steadfast caretaker to our much-loved matriarch. Your devotion to her well-being and to ensuring her last years were passed with grace and love will never be forgotten.
