Martha Barrows

Martha R. Barrows, 69, of San Antonio, Texas, joined her heavenly Father March 5, 2016. She was born in Beeville, Texas on February 14, 1947 to Cyril and Leona Rehm. A devoted wife, mother, Grandmother, sister and friend, Martha showered love on everyone, both family and her dear friends. She graduated from Providence High school in San Antonio and attended San Antonio College. She was married to Glyn A. Barrows on February 21, 1981. Martha worked for AT&T in various administrative assignments from 1969 to 1998. Martha’s first love was her family followed closely by gardening and antique shopping with her sisters. Her many friendships were treasures to her as well.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Glyn, her three sons, Edward A. Kinsel II, Anthony Joseph Kinsel and Adam Glyn Barrows, her two grandsons, Edward A Kinsel III and Logan Andrew Kinsel, and her two sisters Dorothy Beavers and Sandra Barron.

A viewing and Rosary will be held 6:00pm and 7:00PM respectively, March 21, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. March 22, 2016 at St Margaret Mary Church with interment at Ft Sam National Cemetery followed by a reception at Crumpet’s.
