She was the daughter of Maj. General Innis Palmer Swift and Lucile G. Swift.
She is survived by her husband, Gen. Ralph E. Haines, Jr. U.S. Army Ret.; sons, Palmer Swift Haines and wife, Pamela, of Campwood, TX, and William Lyman Haines and wife, Linda, and daughter, Lindsey, of San Antonio, TX; grandson, Lance Palmer Haines and wife, Shannon, of Wilmington, MA; other granddaughter, Lark L. Lee and husband, Daniel of Grantham, NH; sister, Pamela Swift Vaughan of Payson, AZ; nephew, Henry Swift Jake Cherry and wife, Maryln, of San Antonio, TX and niece Suzanne Cherry Vincent of Kerrville, TX; and three great grandchildren.
