San Juana Contreras

San Juana Contreras, age 69, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on November 24, 1948 in Coahuila, Mexico to Cruz and Juanita Perez. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Jesus and husband Guadalupe Contreras. Survivors include children, Juan Carlos (Mary), Claudia, Daniel, Cecilia (Rene), and Denise; grandchildren, Priscilla, Tania, Anthony, Gus, Mariah and Angelina; great-grandchildren Liam, Noah and Luis Javier Jr; and sisters Ma. Luisa, Paula, Ma. Consuelo, Ma. Teresa, Ma. Dolores, Ma, Guadalupe and brothers Tomas, Cruz and Javier.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home chapel led by Fr. Saturnino Lajo reciting. Funeral mass to be celebrated at 9:30 am Friday, May 4, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic church with Fr. Saturnino Lajo celebrant. Services will conclude at the church and will be followed by family and friends gathering at the Mártires Oblatos de España Hall located at 5712 Blanco Rd. Bldg 42, San Antonio, TX 78216.
