Sandy "Dusty" M. Anderson

Sandy Milton Anderson “Dusty” born April 4, 1948 in Texarkana, Arkansas and returned to Cave Without A Name, Texas as an infant. Dusty died at 11:12am on February 17, 2020 at 71 years of age at home in San Antonio, Texas with his wife at his side. He suffered for many years with MS and later Alzheimer’s Disease.

Dusty graduated from Robert E. Lee in 1966 and loved playing football for Lee. He worked as a salesman at Yamaha Sports, Alamo Cycle-Plex and Joe Harrison Motor Sales.

He is survived by Deborah Wear Anderson, his beloved wife, and they recently celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary on Valentine’s Day. Dusty is survived by his mother-in-law, Ann Tabor, his father-in law, Harold H. Wear and wife Judy, his son Brian “Bo” Anderson and wife Stacey, his children Amber Flores, Monique L. Garces and husband Stephen, Ann-Marie Trevino and her husband Noel and Christopher Sievers and his wife, Jennifer and grandchildren, Jacob, Lauren and Joshua Anderson, Brandon, Aiden and Andrew Garces, Anthony, Jason, and Izek Flores, Tara Leia Sanchez, Sean, Charlie and Noah Sievers, Taylor-Ann Trevino and Michael Trevino. Dusty is also survived by one great granddaughter, Maggie. Dusty was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Bell Renfro, his father, Sandy M. Anderson his son, Scott Jason Anderson and his brother, Gary Anderson. Dusty is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law along with many cousins, nephews and nieces and his beloved Aunt Joyce Anderson, Aunt Cecile Stanphill and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held from 2-6pm on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home on Austin Highway.
