

Thomas V. Stindt was born on October 18th, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to Mary and Elmer Stindt. Tom was a loving husband, father and Opa to three grandchildren and peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 30th, 2023 surrounded by “his girls”.
Tom was a remarkable man who touched the lives of many, both through his volunteer service to his community and his unwavering faith. He was a devoted member of the Lutheran community and spent his free time helping with the local Meals on Wheels program.
After graduating from Michigan State University, Tom served his country in the U.S. Army and after, enjoyed a long career in sales with Walton Enterprises.
Tom cherished his time spent with family and friends. He was a loving husband to his wife, Barbara for over 50 years and loved to brag on his daughters, Elizabeth and Susan. He cherished the moments shared with them, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and cherished memories.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Andrew Stindt. Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Stindt; daughter, Elizabeth Lamoureux and her husband, Scott, their son Luke; daughter, Susan Lowery and her husband, Mark, their son Aiden and daughter Madelyn; his brother, John Stindt and wife, Nan; nephew, Steve Stindt and his wife, Margaret, their daughter Alexandra.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church of Alamo Heights, 6720 Broadway St., San Antonio, TX 78209, on August 25th at 1:00 p.m. where we will come together to share cherished memories and celebrate his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Christ Lutheran Church of Alamo Heights in his memory.
