He enjoyed gardening, wood work and being outdoors. During Christmas time you could find him making tamales while listening to Christmas music. Spending time with his family was very important to him, especially with his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hortencia G. Campos; son, Valentin G. Campos; mother, Meria Aleman; father, Nicolas Campos and his brother Isaac A. Campos.
He is survived by his sons, Luis G. Campos (Josephina), Hector G. Campos (Yvonne), Efram G. Campos (Mary) and daughter-in-law, Rachel P. Campos; ten grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; his sisters, San Juana Medrano and Anita Campos Valdez as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Valentin will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Dad, may you rest in peace. You will be truly missed and you will always be in our hearts. We love you so much.
There will be a Visitation held Thursday, December 14, 2023 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. On Friday, December 15, 2023 our doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for a Final Visitation and departing at 11 am from Funeraria Del Angel Trevino funeral home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio TX 78237 for 12:30 arrival time at burial site at First Memorial Park Cemetery, TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073
