My dear friend, Mary Lamarre, and I shared an lot of great interesting conversations over a cup of tea and cookies. Her son, Brian, married my daughter, Annette and thus we had lots of family chatter as she and I just loved to talk. We were both reared by the  " Old Fashion Rules " of life behaviorisms and Catholic Doctrines when Mass when said in Latin. She was a mother of 4, a grandmother of 12 and a great grandmother of 2,(another due soon). She loved her family and friends and we all use to enjoy get togethers at her home when she was younger; you were always welcomed  and you knew it and felt her genuineness of her love and friendship in her voice and from the smile on her face. She will be missed by many and I'm one of those who will miss her presence and will always cherish our times shared with her, her family and friends. She definitely loved her Catholic beliefs and traditions and I do also and already I feel the loss of that past experience connection but I thank God for having been in her life and am thankful for all she gave to us all. I once heard, " A person remembered, is never forgotten " and she fits in that category  in my opinion. I liked and loved her and will miss her ! My mom lived her life with true faith.  She received the grace from God to pass away just the way she had wished-surrounded by 3 of her 4 children, without hospitals or nursing homes, in her own bed and her own bedroom.  She had just met Luke, her newest great grandchild, on Saturday. I will miss her so very much.
