Dear Susie and family - I never had the opportunity to meet Larry, but only heard from all others what a good man he was. Through talking with my sister, Pat Morton, I learned of your marriage and the good days you shared together. Please know that your extended family grieves for your loss as well.

Wonderful memories of our high school days/daze. Will remember Larry’s laugh. One of the Lads that started at Saints in ‘58. He touched the lives of many over the years and am pleased he was a friend in high school. He lives on in our hearts.

I have known Larry for around 40 years. We first met at the gemco store up in Long Beach . We continued to be friends and worked together here in San Diego. He was a great friend , coworker and entrepreneur. We went fishing together, Padres games,we had some great times.
I will miss your friendship .
Rest In Peace Larry

I worked with Larry back in the good old Gemco days. Never a dull moment with the "Soria humor" that came out of his upstairs office! What a great guy! Have a beautiful journey, my friend.
Prayers to his family .......

I echo Paul O'Neal's comments - we were classmates at Saints, graduating in 1960. We were all trouble makers - perhaps some more than others. But we had tremendous fun - and many staying in touch over the years have had great times together at Bully's East, or wherever we might run into one another here 'n there around the city. Thanks Larry for being who you are - perfect? Hardly - but we are a great group of not-perfect-folks. We'll catch up with you on the other side of the great divide!

Larry was more than just a high school pal. We would carpool to Saint Augustine from Golden Hill and arrive a bit exhausted from making each other laugh. He wasn't just a funny man, he was also a swell athlete, a man loyal to family and friends. When we, his old Saints classmates and friends, would meet at Bully's East to tell lies and laugh over times gone by, Larry brought a sense of completeness to the gathering. This is because he was special and unique to each of us there. We will be meeting today as previously planned. I suspect that he will be there as well. This loss hurts, but I am happy for him.

Larry was bigger than any one else, what he did for others and with that smile. He was definitely a great man who was also a great friend. Rest in paradise.
