NORA Falcon CADIGAL

Nora Falcon Cadigal, age 80, San Jose, CA passed on Sat. Dec. 19, 2020 at 8:14 am.
Her Viewing, Eulogy and Memorial Mass will be held Thursday January 14, 2021 at Saint Maria Goretti Church. Father Eric Piczon, will be officiating. After, her Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery (aka Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park).
A silent Viewing will begin at 10:30 am at St. Maria Goretti, followed by a public Eulogy at 11:30 am. Funeral Memorial Mass will proceed at 12:30 pm. Burial then commences at the Sunrise Mausoleum (same site of late husband, Cid T. Cadigal Sr.) at Oak Hill Cemetery between 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm.
Nora Falcon Cadigal was born in Candijay, Bohol, on June 5th, 1940.
She attended Candijay High School and went on to graduate as a Registered Nurse from Southwestern University PHINMA in Cebu, Philippines receiving a B.S. from the College of Nursing. Nora served in public health as a nurse for a total 48 years. Working first for 14 years as an RN in the Philippines, at Central Health Center in Candijay, Bohol. Then later married to Cid T. Cadigal Sr., she moved to the US, where she worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 33 years, last working at Emmanuel Convalescent Hospital in San Jose, CA. Starting in the summer of 1976, Nora was married to Cid Tabique Cadigal Sr. the love of her life. They were married all the way until Cid Sr.’s untimely death in 1994 where as a widow she continued to raise their only son, Cid Falcon Cadigal Jr.
Nora enjoyed spending time gardening, singing, & was an avid fan of pro wrestling. She always enjoyed time at family/friend gatherings. Nora was an active parishioner at St. Maria Goretti, attending weekly Sunday mass and if time permitted, sometimes even daily mass. Over the years, she would return to the Philippines multiple times. Nora was most at home with her direct Falcon family brothers and sisters, many nieces, and nephews. She also enjoyed travel, excited to see the world with friends after retirement to Europe, (Paris/Germany) and the Holy land touring Bethlehem and the beautiful places where Jesus walked and lived.
Nora is survived by her direct family: Cid Falcon Cadigal Jr. (son) Pamela Cadigal (daughter-in-law) Analaya Cadigal (granddaughter). She is survived by her direct family Crispin Falcon (brother) Lorraine Raya (sister) Elsa Ganade (sister) Marlina Estapia (sister) Rosa Macas (sister) Oliva Hontanosas (sister) along with many other extended Falcon-Cadigal family. Nora is preceded in death by Crispin Ruiz Falcon (father) Oliva Amora Falcon (mother) Beda Falcon Ladaga (sister) Teofila Falcon (sister) and Rev. Father Meliton Falcon (brother) & the love of her life Cid Tabique Cadigal Sr. (husband).
Our family would like to thank those who were a part of Nora Falcon Cadigal’s life. Her love & light were a blessing. Thank you for being with us today for her memorial.
