Mary Joyce Freeman, age 64, of Snellville, Georgia, met her Lord on August 4th at the conclusion of a brief battle with aggressive cancer. She was born on January 10th, 1954 to Berlin and Yvonne Edwards. She married on December 13th, 1975 and had three children in the ensuing ten years. Out of the abundance of her deep trust in Jesus Christ, she sought to provide spiritual nourishment in all her endeavors. She cared for others primarily as a homemaker for her children and grandchildren, and also at various jobs, the most recent of which was sharing Jesus’ love for children as a school bus driver. She is preceded by her mother and father and will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas and children Wesley (Ashley), Melissa (Mark) Probst, and Jonathan (Neely), as well as her grandchildren Jonah and Annabelle Probst and Ava Freeman, and her sister Katherine Edwards.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 8th at 10:00 AM at H.M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30329, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM in Arlington Chapel.
