Carol Maureen Weinhart
December 26, 1937 – February 1, 2020
Carol M Weinhart age 82 of Deltona, Florida, went home to be with her Lord & Savior on February 1, 2020 at Halifax Health Hospice Care. Carol was born in Troy, Illinois on December 26, 1937. She was raised in the state of Illinois. Her family eventually moved to California, where she met her husband Vern.
Vern & Carol were married July 10, 1957 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They moved to Central Florida where they raised their family. Carol worked as a seamstress, sewing patching on the uniforms for police and fire fighters in Central Florida. She was a member of the Florida State Reenactment society. Civil War Reenacting was a passion that she and her husband passed on to their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was also an active member of her church, Pine Ridge Fellowship in Deltona. She attended the church religiously and was part of the ladies' group and the sewing circle.
She is survived by her siblings Beverly Jahneke Hernandez, Bill Jahneke , 3 nephews and 2 nieces. Her children Richard Weinhart and his wife Terri, Debra Weinhart Kocha and her husband Ernest, and William Weinhart and his wife Sherry.Her grandchildren Jared Kocha and his wife Laura, Nicole Weinhart Memola and her husband Eric, Jessica Peck, Christopher Kocha and his wife Charlotte, Willlam T. Campbell and Vernon R Weinhart and his wife Kara. Her great grandchildren Ashley Brandon, Isaac Brandon and Liam Memola.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother George, husband of 54 years Vernon G. Weinhart, and 1 great grandchild.
A celebration of Life is scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Pine Ridge Fellowship located at 1045 E Normandy Blvd, Deltona, FL 32725. Carol will be buried at the Florida National Cemetery with her husband at a later time.
