Myra Jacquline Rumbley

Myra Jacquline “Jackie” Rumbley, age 86, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2018 with her loved ones by her side. She was born August 17,1932 in Sanford, Florida to James and Nancy (Brooks) Dunn. She was a graduate of Seminole High School. She married her husband, John Rumbley on February 21,1951 in Sanford, Florida. She was a homemaker and shared her love working in childcare services. Jackie truly lived life to the fullest and had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; visiting with friends and family over coffee, painting nature and landscapes, going to the beach, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Nancy Dunn; her husband, John Rumbley, her son, James Rumbley; and daughter-in-law, Kathy Rumbley. She is survived by her sister, Sarah (John) Miller; son, John Jr. Rumbley; daughter, Myra Muse; and youngest son, Howard Rumbley.
Also left to honor Jackie and remember her love are her three grandchildren, Tiffany (Bobby) Stern, Amy (Jimbo) Price, Dayna Rumbley, Polly (Cliff) Dyson, and six great grandchildren Dustin Stern, Jacob Stern, Blake Stern and Colton Price, Lacey Price, Luke Price, Haley and Owen Dyson. Jackie is also survived by her loving nephew, Reg and nieces Cynthia, Karen, Frances, Anna, Serena, Teresa, Patricia and Sheila.
The family will greet friends at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 Co Rd 46A in Sanford, Florida on Wednesday November 7, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Following the burial, we will join for further gathering and fellowship.

We were saddened to hear that Jackie had passed away.
I have nothing but fond memories of her when I was growing up and as an adult. She always had a smile on her face.
