We live close to her house in San Jose, CA. She always took care of my two girls and advised us to do things properly. I have met Julie, Celia and others from UK and had fun in her place. She always encourage d my daughters to do well and loved us unconditionally. She taught me to make turkey soup and always shared it with us. We enjoyed soccer matches together with chips and cookies. She will be in our heart for ever.

Nana (and Nip) became family when our son was welcomed with open arms and hearts into their family. Nana’s love for her family was a great example for all. I was grateful she loved my son & his sons as I did. I thought for a long time Nana was her name, so it just became my endearing name for her. I will miss her breaking out in song. I will miss her at all special occasions. I will miss her!

So many lovely memories of my Aunty Maud happy times on our many visits to california and more when they visited us back in the UK. Aunty Maud was always generous and kind and when our son passed away suddenly both her and Tony took the first flight to the uk to offer love and support to us at such a dreadful time and I will never forget that. I will also never forget the cabbage patch dolls and the beanie babies. Maud you were exceptional, generous and kind and a wonderful nanna to your grandchildren we shall all miss you.
Maud you will be loved and missed for an eternity xxx

When my mom died in in 1988 I had 2 little children an then another in 1989. Maud was taking care of Karen’s kids an would invite us to come swim or visit with them through those tough years when I was grieving for my mom, an if I didn’t have her helping me grieve an caring about my family I don’t know how I could have gotten through that time. She made some very happy memories for me n my kids an I will never forget that an always be grateful. She was like a second mom to me! We loved her an will miss her always!
