Dorothy Faye Mygrant

Mrs. Mygrant enjoyed knitting, pottery and many other crafts. She was a member of the Chickasaw Methodist Church, She spent many years as an active member of the Eastern Star and served as Worthy Grand Matron. She loved going to sporting events, swimming, crossword puzzles and watching football especially Alabama Roll Tide.

Mrs. Mygrant was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Mygrant; infant son, Richard Eddie Pierce; a daughter, Dorothy Jasmine Pierce; her parents, Horace and Thelma Lee Holmes; siblings, Rex Holmes and Lemuel Holmes.

Surviving are her loving and devoted, son, Barry C. Pierce; grandchildren, Bryan Hill, Pamela (Robin) Kohn and Tracey Pierce (Josh) Jones; great grandchildren, Marleigh Hill, Maranda Hill, Conner Hill, Britney (Justin) Welch, Alissa Reid, Jasmine Jones, Jet Jones and Kiersten Burgett; great great grandchildren, Dottie Welch and Levi Welch; a brother, Gary (Diane) Holmes and a sister, Barbara (Aaron) Johnston, also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, Alabama.

Funeral Service will follow in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m,

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Saraland, Alabama
