Ola W Curry

Ola Waite Curry, age 84, a native of Silas, AL and resident of Satsuma, AL passed away surrounded by her family on April 2, 2024. Ola was a dedicated member of Chickasaw Faith Center where she was also the Pastor’s wife for 40 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Woody Curry; her parents Curtis and Mary (Mate) Waite; her brothers Raymond Waite, James Waite, and Earl Waite; and her 2 sisters Ida Mae Singley and Louise Waite.

She leaves behind her 5 children, Rodney (Fay) Curry, Cindy (Bobby) Woodard, Barry (Pollette) Curry, Lee Anne (Scott) Squires, and Dana (Bill) Rutledge; 7 grandchildren, Crystal (Buster) Likely, Erin Curry, Joey (April) Curry, Chuck Curry, Jenny (Chris) Uptagrafft, Scott (Courtney) Squires, and Emilee Anne Rutledge; 6 great-grandchildren, Destiny Thompson, Ayden Moore, Joseph Curry, Jacey Curry, Sadie Squires, and Cooper Squires; 1 great-great granddaughter Paris “PePe” Robinson; her brother, Jute Waite; her dear, life long friend, Maydel Davidson; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 1pm - 2pm at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, AL. Funeral will be at 2pm in the chapel. Interment immediately following at Valhalla Memorial Gardens in Eight Mile, AL.
