Thomas Jerry Beavers, 79, was born in Berry, Alabama on May 30, 1942 to the late Thomas Millard and Wilma Dean Watkins Beavers. He was called to his Heavenly home on September 6, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama. Thomas was a member of Saraland Baptist Church where he always enjoyed socializing with everyone. He was a chemist for Union Carbide now known as UOP for many years. Thomas loved to travel all over the country and as an over-the-road CDL driver he was able to do just that. He enjoyed cooking with family and friends. Thomas will be remembered most for the passionate, competitive spirit carried for his greatest love outside of his family. His love for bass fishing that earned him many titles and tournaments. Thomas has officially taken his hot spots to the grave with him.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents: a beloved wife of fifteen years; Mary Beavers, one sister; Janice Carol Beavers Baker, and one daughter; Elizabeth Carol Beavers.
Left to cherish Thomas’s memories will be his three children: Monica Beavers Andress and husband Jodey, Thomas Matthew Beavers and wife Grace, Darlene Beavers Morgan, their mother; Carolyn Gray, one brother; Jimmie Wilson Beavers and wife Brenda, eight grandchildren: Skylar Deora Andress, Destiny Carole Andress, Cherish Brileigh Andress, Samuel “Luke” Andress, Zoey Bautista Beavers, Heather Morgan Ball, Paul John Morgan, Cassie Morgan Lucious, five nephews: Scott Beavers, Kenny Beavers and wife Lisa, Roger Baker, Weldon Baker, Terry Baker, wife Bridget along with many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Honoring Thomas as pallbearers will be Thomas Matthew Beavers, Samuel “Luke” Andress, Jodey Andress, Thomas Calloway, Bill Andrews and Scott Thomas Beavers.

Celebration of Life services for Thomas will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 10, 2021 at Saraland Baptist Church with Pastor Todd Richardson officiating under the direction of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, Alabama. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Saraland, Alabama.
The family will receive guests for visitation on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM at Saraland Baptist Church.
