Bernedine “Dee” DePastino passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota, FL. She was born in Philadelphia and has resided in Sarasota since 1975. Dee was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and a faithful servant to God. She was active in the life of her family and enjoyed cooking, crafts and baseball. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard DePastino, her sons Rich DePastino and wife Tanya of Sharpsburg, GA and Joe DePastino and wife Amy of Sarasota, FL; her brothers Don DiAntonio of Tennessee, Tom DiAntonio of Pennsylvania and Bernard DeAntonio of Pennsylvania and many nieces and nephews. Dee was also a loving grandmother to five grandchildren, Anna, Shea, and Ben of Sharpsburg, GA and Rocco and Gia of Sarasota, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Tidewell Hospice. Memorial service will be on April 28th at 9:30 am at Incarnation Catholic Church in Sarasota. .
