May 2008 was our first meeting Jimmy, when Bradley and the Morrall family joined The Haven.
Hard to believe it’s been 12 years..
12 years of fun, hugs, moods, stubbornness, tears, and of course your ongoing feud with Bradley 😂🤣.. all of which we took in our stride. One thing that never changed though were those incredible hugs you always gave.
Bradley, myself, Steve and Danielle will miss you tremendously, but we are so thankful to have known you.
R.I.P. sweet Jimmy xxxxxx

Oh Jimmy, where do I begin...In 2007 I was very fortunate to work the weekend shift in your group home which was the beginning of my incredible journey in getting to know you over the past 12 years.
You always lit up any room with your smile and and greeting by a kiss on the hand if special. Your love of WWE, Music, Friends riding your bike at The Haven and your contagious laugh.
You would bring me the phone to call your family or a pad and pen asking to write your family members. You loved ice cream. Even on the Christmas Trolley this past year you couldn't stop talking about ice cream. I'm glad I got to sit next to you on the trolley.
I'll never forget the night of the "Special O' Laughic's Performance show, you told Les Mc Curdy you wanted to sing a song. You always manage to come up with your version of your favorite Patriotic song. "God Bless America" . At the end of the song you dedicated the song to Debbie Higham and myself. It really made a huge hit considering the Comedy Club was packed including standing room. On Holidays you would ask me to look it up on the computer so you could salute the soldiers. You had an incredible heart and soul. You would love when everyone took turns singing along with your favorite song on YouTube. Thank you Liiisa Neumann for donating the speakers to Suncoast House.
The special relationship you formed with Catherine, who is an amazing swim instructor and Haven Teacher; she convinced you that swimming could be fun once you got in it, It was such a pleasure to be able to see you enjoy the pool while I was your lifeguard.
You were loved by all the staff, instructors, clients
and their families. I loved you so much. RIP Jimmy...
P.S. I'm glad I had the honor and opportunity to take you to get fitted for your tux for Brad and Jordan's Wedding. You had the time of your life!! Brad and Jordan always made sure you got to have Holiday dinners with your extended Haven Family.
We were all blessed to have you in our lives.

Jimmy was in my classroom for this past year and will be forever in my heart. Jimmy could be counted on to give the best hugs, the best smiles, the best dances, and be that special person who lights up your day and reminds you why you love coming to work. I loved being able to talk him into joining in classroom discussions, singing his favorite songs and joining our chorus line dances to Frank Sinatra. Finding fun ways to help him stay active and have a good time was always even better than expected. Who would have thought Jimmy would choose to do Tai Chi and daily exercise. If he could sneak in a quick hug or a kiss on the cheek he was right there front and center. Every time I open a closet or cabinet a reminder of Jimmy’s recent appropriation of yet another coloring page or book. Usually with the owner’s name crossed out and his written in. I’m so thankful to have known Jimmy and had the gift of his friendship, loving heart and the laughter and fun we shared.

Oh Jimmy. I remember a day I sat by your place at the table and used one of your pictures and upset you horribly. I did not know this for over an hour until Becky came through and had to comfort you. I was worried but, the next time I saw you, you sent me one of your gorgeous bountiful smiles. I so appreciated your graciousness. You will live in me forever.

I was the weekday Group Home Manager at the Haven frim 2007 thru 2010. My primary residence was Suncoast. I loved all the consumers and had a wonderful time with them all. I would however be lying if I denied that " Jimmy Toundas " didn't hold a very very special place in my heart. He called me " my son"! LOL and was very protective of me. You may be gone Jimmy but you will never be forgotten by anyone that's ever known you. You were the one in a million!
