Born in Springfield, Mass. in 1971, passed Oct. 20, 2011, after a five year battle with cancer.
Kimmy is survived by her two children, Katelyn Jean, 14, and Andrew Donald, 9; brother, Shawn James; twin sister, Kelly Marie; mother, Bonnie Jean; and step-father, William Canero.
Kimberly moved to Florida in 1976, and attended Riverview High School where she graduated. She was a clarinetist for the Kilties Marching Band, and received "Best Clarinet" at the State Championship in 1987.
She was a champion in the fight against breast cancer. Close friend, Cheri Hutchinson, and "Kimberly's Pink Posse" have been an integral part of the Susan G. Komen cancer walk for the past several years.
Kimberly's greatest achievement was raising her two children. It was because of them that she was able to keep a smile on her face and a positive attitude throughout her battle. She was feisty and had a unique zest for life. It was a privilege to have known her.
