Rick spent his life as a theatrical/exhibit lighting designer and theatrical producer traveling the world in the process. He is a pioneering influence and the go-to person in bringing theatrical lighting into large-scale artistic exhibits!
Mr. Belzer was born in Philadelphia, PA, raised in the Panama Canal where he found his love for the theatre, and traveled the world with his artistic talent.
In addition to his partner Adriana Betancur Lopez and her son Miguel, Rick is survived by Richard, Sr., his brothers Robert and James, Robert’s family Elizabeth, Antanina, and T. Vytas, and James’ partner Jerry. He was preceded by his mother Sarah “Suzi” who passed on in 2011.
A viewing will be held at National Cremation & Burial Society and service will be held at Church of the Redeemer In Sarasota Florida on October 20, 2018.
