Miss Ellerbee came to Calvary Baptist Church in Bradenton, Florida years ago. She became my friend....I would take her to and from Church.....She lived near me for years when her Father was alive and he lived with her.....Later she sold that house and moved into the Shores downtown.......I visited her there many times and had meals with her. She was a wonderful person. She loved history and I marveled at her knowledge of our country.

When she came back to Bradenton this year, I visited her when she was in The Towers Rehab facility. The last time I visited her, she was going to Therapy in her wheelchair. I walked with her and we visited until we reached the room....I left her thinking I would be back....but when I called the next time she was gone. I was shocked and so disappointed that I did not see her again before the Lord called her home.....I miss her but expect to join her one day in our Eternal Home.

Cousin Roz, our family historian, fought a good fight. Now she can Rest In Peace knowing that the family will cherish each moment spent with her.

Sure, we’ll miss her smile and her laughter, but her spirit will live on forever in our hearts.

Memorial services will be announced shortly.
