IN THE CARE OF
Mourning Glory Funeral Services
It is with sadness that the family of Edith Hubbard announces her passing on Friday January 13, 2023. Edith is survived by her son Brad (Marilyn); grandsons Robert (Ashley), Johnathon and Nathon; great grandson William; daughter-in-law Rhonda Hubbard; grandsons Scott (Renee), Brayden, Adam and Jorden; great granddaughter Nova; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ken.
Edie was born in Liberty Saskatchewan. Ken and Edie were married June 17, 1948. They moved to Saskatoon where they resided until their passing.
Edie enjoyed spending time at the lake, travelling to Arizona in the winters and playing cards whenever she could. Christmas would always be a good time at home and at the shop as Edie would bake for everyone. Shortbread was her specialty.
We would like to thank all the doctors and caregivers at Warman Mennonite Care Home for their time and devotion to Edie.
As per Edie’s request there will be a private service for the family, and her and Ken will be reunited at St. John’s Anglican Cathedral Columbarium.
In Edie’s memory, the family requests donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.
