It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Michel (Mike) Louis Joseph Duperreault on Feb. 6, 2020. Mike is survived by his wife of 44 years Sheila (Antymniuk) Duperreault, his daughter Tasha Marie (Doug and granddaughter Nova); YoungSonJoe (Joseph Michel Paul); mother Aurélie Duperreault (Balaux) and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Mike was predeceased by his father Cléas Duperreault. Born in Saskatoon, SK #6 of 11 children, Mike graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1974. He started his career with CN Rail as Section man and progressed his career to Upper Senior Management of Engineering until his retirement after 40 years of service. After his retirement he went to work at A & B Rail for 2 years until illness forced him to retire again. Mike loved spending his leisure time at the cabin sitting around the campfire, golfing and enjoying life with family. Mike will always be loved, appreciated and remembered for bringing together family and friends.

Dear Sheila and family, I am so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. So many memories of Mike and John working and having fun.

He was a good man and I know he’ll be missed by all.

I am sorry I cannot make his service, I am out of country. Know that my thoughts and prayers and deepest condolences are with you all at this most difficult time.
