Wilfred was born May 5, 1950 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon. He lived on the family farm near Prud’Homme until 1959 when the family decided to move to Saskatoon. He attended the school for the deaf until his graduation.
Then he met Jean Forest and married in 1972. They had three children: Louise, Philip and Susie. After graduation, Wilfred worked at 7-up, EMCO Meats and as a janitor at the University.
They then decided to move to Winnipeg where there was more help for the deaf. He started work at Palliser Furniture until his retirement. He married Judy in 1996 and they spent 27 years together.
Wilfred loved going to his trailer at Lilac Lake. Wilfred was always a hard worker, he like using his hands in building things or repairing things. He was always there to help people when they needed a hand. Wilfred always had a smile on his face no matter what. He liked playing cards and helping on the farm.
Wilfred’s main priority in life was his wife Judy. They were inseparable. Wilfred will be missed by all his family and friends. Rest in eternal peace Wilfred.
