AELICK, Lorraine Florence (Wood) - It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, nanny, and great-grandmother, Lorraine Aelick. Lorraine’s life journey ended surrounded by her loving husband and family. Daughter of the late Belford and Margurite Wood. Loving wife and soul mate of Robert for over sixty-four years. Adored mother of the late Rob, Anna Marie Coulas (Les), Llyod (Jean), Roberta Cain (Pat), and Laura-Jill Stevenson (Tim). Loving nanny of Bobby, Lindsay, Lesley-Anne (Clayton), Courtney (Shaun), Aaron (Kayla), Brittany, Noah, late Joshua, Bill (Brianne), T.J. (Jen), Katherine, Samantha, and Adam (Rachel). Great-grandma of Jake, Jordyn, Patrick, Emma, Rosie, Braeden, Carina, Xavier and Riley.

Lorraine was the heart and soul of her family. She always put the needs of others before herself. Lorraine’s top three priorities were her family, her community, and her country.

Friends are invited to a graveside service at Richards Landing Cemetery on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 1 pm (please practice physical distancing - max 100 people). Rev. Dennis Posno officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations (payable by cheque or online) can be made to North Shore Health Network Mathews Site Auxiliary or to Mental Health Algoma. A special thank you to Amy at Bayshore Health Care for showing such care and compassion to Lorraine’s family. Dear Bob and family.
Please accept our sincere condolences.
We have fond recollections of our association with her: snow machining, school board, Liberal party functions.
She was dedicated to these and all in which she was involved.
May your 64 years of memories bring you some solace at this very difficult time. Mary and Harvey
