John T. Migliaccio, 86, formerly of Myerstown, died Saturday, November 17, 2012 in Lakeland, FL. He was the husband of Feryn E. Migliaccio with whom he was married to since October 16, 1993. He was born in Lebanon on September 27, 1926, a son of the late Albert S. Migliaccio I and Hattie Ulrich Migliaccio. John was a retired employee of Quaker Alloy in Myerstown and served in the US Army during World War II. He attended the Calvary Church in Lebanon while living in Lebanon County. He was a member of the Myerstown VFW and the Goodwill Fire Company No. 1 Marching Unit in Myerstown. John was the organizer of the Myerstown Midget Football Program. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter, Vicki wife of Nathaniel (Sam) Longenecker of Schaefferstown; step children, Robert Hoar of FL; Gregory husband of Colleen Hoar of Elizabethtown; Bruce husband of Allison Hoar of VT; Kim wife of Steve Sanders of Red Lion; Todd Hoar of Lancaster; grandchildren, Sonya wife of Scott Saboe; Stacia wife of Nicholas Smith; Sheree wife of John Beck; Megan Migliaccio Tierce and Melanie Migliaccio; five great grandchildren; eight step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren; sister, Gloria Powell of Palmyra. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Keeney Migliaccio; son, Timothy John Migliaccio; sister, Rosina Rice and brother, Albert Migliaccio II. Graveside service will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Those attending the graveside service should meet at the Calvary Church, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., Lebanon, PA 17046 at 9:00 AM to process to the cemetery. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM at the church, with a visitation to follow. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Myerstown VFW, Post 6076, 410 W.
