Rita Diaz at the age of 74 spent her final waking moments by the side of her beloved husband Porfirio Diaz on September 1, 2018.

Rita was born to Eulalia and Josephine Flores on April 26, 1944 in Chicago, IL. She met the love of her life Porfirio Diaz in 1967, had and raised five children. Rita was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, godmother and friend who brought joy to everyone she knew with a super unique sense of humor. She was the life of every party and had the most amazing stories to share.

Left to Cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years, Phil, five children: Alfred Diaz (Vivian Barbosa-Diaz), Amy Bonilla (Carlos Bonilla), Phillip Diaz, Hilda Diaz (Steven Nieto) and Brenda Garcia (Sergio Garcia) along with her grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Rachel Lopez and Rebecca Rizzo and brothers Rudy Flores, Robert Flores and Richard Flores and many other family members.

Left to Cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years, Phil, five children: Alfred Diaz (Vivian Barbosa-Diaz), Amy Bonilla (Carlos Bonilla), Phillip Diaz, Hilda Diaz (Steven Nieto) and Brenda Garcia (Sergio Garcia) along with her grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Rachel Lopez and Rebecca Rizzo and brothers Rudy Flores, Robert Flores and Richard Flores and many other family members.
