She was born on July 12, 1968 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Michael E and Mary Frances (Parker) Warren. She received her education in the Scottsbluff County schools.

Marlena married Steve H Kampbell on March 4, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada and made their home in Scottsbluff. Marlena was a licensed CNA at Regional West Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband Steve; children Adam Kampbell, Kasey and Maria Kampbell and Brittany K Kampbell; granddaughter Azaleah Novaleigh; nephew Jack Warren; aunt and uncles Barbara Brening, Tom Warren, Jimmy (Cindy) Warren and Jenell (Karl) Burns and their son Matthew and extended family.

Marlena was preceded in death by her grandparents, sister Julie and father Michael E Warren.
