

Vivian Verla (Crocker) Wilson, 88 of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Regional West Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Robert Haverick officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the chapel. Memorials have been established to donor’s choice. Vivian was born July 13, 1921 in Octavia, Nebraska to John Fletcher and Alta Jane (Tabler) Crocker. She was the youngest of seven children and was raised near David City, NE. The family later moved to Kearney, NE, then to South Dakota for a short time and then to Alliance finally to Scottsbluff. Vivian was working at Ideal Laundry in Scottsbluff when she met and married Raymond Vernon Wilson. They were married January 16, 1946. One child was born to this union, Carol (Wilson) Palmer. Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Leroy) Palmer of Morrill; grandchildren: Matthew (Michelle) Palmer of Clovis, CA, Michael (Kristy) Palmer of Linn Creek, MO, William (Gabriell) Palmer of Kennesau, GA, Arvon (Brigette) Palmer of Scottsbluff, Vincent (Shanna) Palmer of Ft. Carson, CO and Ivy (Israel) Escamilla of Gering; great grandchildren: Noah, Logan & Ethan Palmer of Clovis, CA, Cody & Frehya Palmer of Linn Creek, MO, Raymond & Julian Palmer of Scottsbluff and Brianna & Monica Palmer of Gering and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Ralph Crocker, Cloyd Crocker, George Crocker and Edwin Crocker, sisters Sylvia (Crocker) Emerick and Hazel (Crocker) Henderson.
