Betty Jane Trickel

Betty Jane Trickel, born April 1, 1933 Argyle, MN, to Art Landreville and Lucille (Loren) Landreville. She passed away January 31, 2018 in Scottsdale, AZ. Betty was raised on a farm outside Argyle, MN. After graduating from high school Betty moved to Minneapolis, MN to work at the Twin Cities Ammunition Plant working as a secretary to the plant manager in the early 1950s, until meeting Earl Trickel on a blind date and marrying in 1954. Betty was a homemaker and raised her five children in Storm Lake, IA from 1954 to 1983. Betty and Earl moved to Scottsdale, AZ when all the kids graduated from high school in 1983. Betty enjoyed summers with the family at their lake cabin on Pillsbury Point, West Lake Okoboji, Arnolds, Park, IA, swimming, boating, fishing, and just plain having fun. Betty is survived by her 5 children,13 grand children, and 8 great grandchildren.
