Kailiang Jing was born on December 12, 1932, to Qianlin Jing and Shangzhi Yin in Wuhan, China. He graduated from St. Francis Xavier's College in Shanghai and later attended Beihang University in Beijing. He then became a professor at Jilin University in Changchun, China, and relocated to Shanghai University in 1985. Kailiang Jing with his wife Ailian Wang immigrated to Tempe, Arizona, USA in 2000 and became members of Greater Phoenix Chinese Christian Church. Both Kailiang and his wife have been actively involved with the Phoenix Senior Center to help others and fundraising events to help the poor.
In May 30, 2022, Kailiang Jing was hospitalized with COPD stage 4 complications, and passed peacefully on June 18, 2022 at 4:41pm. He is survived by son Tianwei Jing.
Kailiang lived a cherished life and inspired all of those around him with his persistence, dedication, and caring personality. His life is a legacy treasured by his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all.
A memorial service for Kailiang Jing will occur Friday, July 8, 2022 at 9:00 AM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257.
