
Michael D. Sporrer, age 64, passed away on November 16, 2002. He was born on April 22, 1938 in Seattle. He served in the U.S. Navy and later worked as a truck driver for many years. Mr. Sporrer was an avid and passionate historian, specializing in circus routes, memorabilia and artifacts. Michael?s vast knowledge of the circus has been featured in articles in the Seattle Times & P.I. over the years. He was a longtime member of Circus Fans of America, and the Circus Historical Society. Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Roberta J. Davis ? Sporrer, of Bellevue; sister, Sylvia Bernauer, of Kirkland; stepdaughter, Rochelle ?Chelle? Donelson, of Ohio; step-grandchildren, Crystal Bartram, Matthew Donelson; two step-great grandchildren, nephew, Daniel Bernauer, of California; cousins, Diane Morgan, Linda Harper, Jenny Saxton, and a host of friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2002, at Lake Washington United Methodist Church, 7525 ? 132nd Ave. NE ? Kirkland, WA 98033.
