.Myron Wesley Reynolds passed away March 19, 2016 in Burien at the age of 93. He was born April 13, 1922 in Sunnyside, Washington, the son of Bernard and Ruth Reynolds. Myron graduated from Highline High School in Burien. He also served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II on the USS John R. Pierce and 5 other ships. He married Lorraine Rose Pupo on September 1, 1946. Lorraine passed away in 2011. Myron and Lorraine spent their entire married life in Burien where they were very active at St. Francis Church and the community. Early in their marriage, they opened one of the first restaurants in the Burien area called “Myron’s Fountain Lunch” (which is now known as The Mark Restaurant). Together they founded and developed North Sea-Tac BMX Park. Myron worked as an electrician and was an active member of the International Brotherhood Electrical Workers Union– Local 46. After leaving Loyal Electric, Myron started his own electrical business called B.E. N. Wiring. Myron spent much of his free time at his summer cabin on Lost Lake near Shelton, Washington. Myron is survived by his daughters Theresa (Tony) Weist and Pamela (James) Seymour; and his son Ben (Jennifer) Reynolds. He is survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. A rosary will be held at Yarington’s Funeral Home, 10708 16th Ave SW, on Wednesday, March 30th at 7pm. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 15236 21st Ave SW, on Friday, March 31st at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Endowment Fund, St. Francis of Assisi School, P.O. Box 870, Seahurst, WA 98062 in memory of Myron Reynolds.
