Dear Atherley Family,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your loved one Raul. This is especially difficult when your loved one was so young. The scriptures speak of a time in the not so distant future when we will be able to see our deceased loved ones right here on Earth. That is found at John 5:28,29 and Acts 24:15. Also Revelation 21:3,4 speaks of a time when"death will be no more neither will morning nor outcry nor pain be any more." I hope these scriptures from God's word the Bible bring comfort to your entire family.
Sincerely Terri Sullivan

Footprints in the sand,
Some people come into our lives for a season,
Others come into our lives for a reason,
Others come to leave a lasting footprints in our hearts forever.

To my best friend, colleague, brother and confidante - Raul
Though I may never hear your voice again, see you smile again,
Share another laughter with you, enjoy a soccer match with you,
Nor entertain ourselves to another evening of soulful jazz music,
The memories that you have left with me will forever be cherished,
I am grateful for all those years of friendship.

Europa - Earth's Cry, Heaven's Smile
My heart weeps but heaven rejoices,
For you made it a heaven on earth for all who knew you,
Now heaven calls it's own, so long my friend...
Thank you for the footprints in the sand which will never be washed away.

Rest in Peace - Raul! Miss ya!

I am so sorry for your loss. Working together with Raul while we were both at AT&T were some of the best times. Smart, witty, and just the best hearted and nicest guy. I've been looking for some photos that I had of our team event fishing out of Westport, he was certainly in the middle of our trouble on the water and had great fun.

Rest In Peace Raul! You are greatly missed.

Mi querido primo Raul... You have always been a sweet person. You played games with us as kids, you spent time talking to us and when we grew up and came to visit you always took time to take us out and show us Seattle. Your sweet spirit, caring heart and hilarious demeanor will never be forgotten. You have always reminded me of my dad. This is see you later mopri! Give our dads a huge hug for me. I worked closely with Raul at Boeing for about four years, and in that time, I came to know and appreciate his colorful and positive personality. Raul always had a smile on his face and warmth that makes people gravitate towards him -- he was always the life of the party.

There are many things I remember about Raul, but what comes to mind now is what he always said after he was groomed at the barber, "I drank from the fountain of youth yesterday ... and when I woke up this morning, I looked like this." He always rubbed his cheeks and neck as he said it ... it just cracks everyone up. Another thing that comes to mind is how he would also ask everyone to remain seated as he walked in to work every morning...

Raul, I enjoyed talking about our families, vacations, and our attempts at getting in shape ... we had good run. I am sorry we can't do it anymore. RIP, my friend, you will be missed.

My sincerest condolences.

I worked with Raul for many years at AT&T and he always had a smile on his face and made the 12 hour days enjoyable. He was a great friend and teammate. I don't have too many pictures, but the one I'm including always makes me laugh when I see it. RIP Raul - you will be missed.
