I was very surprised and sad to hear of Dan's passing. My sincere condolences to Tracy and Dave and to Kathleen, although I have not had the opportunity to meet you. I will remember you all in my prayers and will have a mass said for Dan at my home parish.

My sympathies to Dan's family and friends. Dan and I were cousins but often he was more of a brother to me. We grew up in the same 2-flat-went to the same schools and spent every Christmas together for over 20 years. We had many adventures together in our teens and twenties in cars, skis, motorcycles and boats. He was always generous to me , including when we visited his home in Florida. I regret not keeping in touch in recent years and will miss spending time with him as Grandpas. Go Bears.
