I met Ralph when he and Lorraine first started dating and our friendship and association endured for the 38 years he and Lorraine were married -- I think it's safe to state that Ralph regarded me as "extended family". Ralph was smart, funny and always quick with a smile and encouraging word. He embraced life with zeal and used his inner strength over the past several years in an attempt to cope with (if not overcome) his health condition. Ralph had a sensitive, compassionate side which wasn't readily evident. Ralph had friends all over the United States; he will be missed and always remembered by this friend in Texas. In closing I would add that I was privileged to have known him.

Until we meet again, love always,
