Tony Johnson

On Thursday, August 29, 2018, we lost a son, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Tony Johnson, of Shepherdsville.  Born May 17, 1965 in Louisville Kentucky to Edward and Betty (Freeman) Johnson, Tony lived his whole life in the Shepherdsville area of Kentucky surrounded by family and many friends. In addition to his parents, Tony leaves behind his daughters Ashley and her children, Deahna, Jace, and Ryker; Amber and her daughter Brianna. Tony also leaves behind his brothers and sisters, Barbara (Ron), Kenny, Debbie, Diane (Mark), Clinton (Sheila), Ronnie (Donna), Rhonda, Eddie (Belinda), Dallas and many nieces, nephews and friends.  Tony made his living driving a truck, and when he wasn’t doing that he enjoyed being with his family and friends, having a good time and sharing a lot of laughs. With a smile on his face and a heart of gold, Tony was a friend to all. He had an affection for nice cars and was known to have a few of them. Tony’s passing has left a void in our hearts, but in return he has given us a lifetime of memories to share and cherish. Funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. on Saturday September 1, 2018 in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow.
