Mrs. Donna Kay (Bishop) Hardy-Reffett, age 65, of Portland returned to her Heavenly Father on September 22, 2021. Mrs. Hardy-Reffett was born on January 16, 1956 in Louisville, KY to the late Albert and Thelma (Mosely) Bishop. She was a homemaker and attended Southeast Christian Church in Indiana. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents, husband, Homer Ray Reffett; sons, Patrick Hardy and David Reffett; and siblings, Danny Bishop, Albert Bishop, Lee Cook, Sue Sutherland, Judy Odom, Jeanette Jordan, and Sandra Bishop.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Michael Hardy (Michelle) and Benny Reffett; fiancé, Denny Vorhees; 14 grandchildren; siblings, Tommy Bishop, Linda Ferguson, Kathy Philpot, Debbie Bishop (Nancy Thompson), and Dorothy Lee; and best friend, Wilma Lister.
Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery.
