Randolph "Randy" Paul Kustes, Sr.

Randolph "Randy" Paul Kustes Sr. of Lebanon Junction, KY passed away Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 at Baptist Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born on August 3, 1950 to the late Murvin and Margaret Kustes, in Louisville, KY.  He was retired from Louisville Water Company and was the founder of Suburban Transportation.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Oscar.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Kustes; brother-in-law, Stan Christian and his dog Oscar.  He is survived by his wife Gina Kustes; four children, Paul (Debbie) Kustes, Ange (Mark) Hagan, Christopher Kustes, and Jay (Gloria) Kustes; two step sons, Todd Farris and Jeffrey Farris (Bobby Miller); and Willie Lewis his heartfelt adopted son; two siblings, Den (Carol) Kustes and Joyce Christian; 16 grandchildren and 6 1/2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon on Monday, December 12, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 2 pm until 8 pm and on Monday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
