Dearest Robbie and family, Was surprised to find out this morning that our precious sister, Berta, has passed over into heaven. I was her friend for many years, we had good times together as she served her Lord at Christian Center and Broadmoor Baptist. She played the piano at Garden Park nursing home for as long as she could, she will be missed. May God bless the entire family during this time. I love you!

Ms. Berta was such a kind and generous woman of God. We were church members for over twenty years. She had a great influence on my life. She supported me and loved me and my family. I will never forget when she paid for me to go to youth camp when I was thirteen or fourteen. She played the piano for daddy at the nursing home for years. She had a sweet high soprano voice, too. I feel blessed to have known her, and I was honored to try to give back to her just a little of the kindness she showed me.

I have such sweet memories of the time spent with Berta in our choir family at Christian Center. Always faithful to our Savior and always an encouragement to others. I'm so sad to hear she's passed away. I will keep the family in my prayers
