A memorial service to celebrate the life of Betty E. Ridout, 75, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 16, 2011, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with Mr. Dennis Austin officiating.
Betty was born on May 21, 1935, to parents, Joseph R. and Zola N. Eoff, and passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her favorite pastime was reading. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Kerwin E. Gordon; granddaughter, Misty Ridout; and her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, James Ridout and wife, Michelle, and Joseph B. Ridout; brother, James Rayford Eoff and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Jamie George and husband, David, and Jennifer Studebaker and husband, Josh; great-grandchildren, Trey Ridout and Kaitlyn Studebaker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
